Job Title: Dog Groomer
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced groomer to join our team at our busy dog boarding/daycare business in Garner! Grooming hours are located below. We already have a groomer in the mornings. Please do NOT apply if you do not have at least one year grooming experience in a professional setting. This is a W2 paid job with a signing bonus! Salary is commission based.
Qualifications:
*Current available grooming hours are:
Monday and Tuesday: Grooming hours available all day
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: Grooming hours begin around approximately 12:30 - 1 pm
Saturdays: Grooming hours begin around 12 pm (if you want to have that day to work)
Sundays: Grooming hours available all day if desired.
*Experience required (at least 1 year professional grooming experience)
*People & Dog friendly!
*Good and Positive attitude
*Have reliable transportation
*Be dependable and punctual!! Customers do not like appointments being cancelled and neither do we!
*Strong focus to detail and strong verbal communication skills
*Courteous customer service while performing grooming services to customer's instructions
*Able to perform grooming services on ALL breeds
*Groomer is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the grooming area
*Groomer will talk to grooming clients as needed.
*Be able to handle grooming dogs on your own. We understand there are certain circumstances where sometimes you need assistance but we do not provide regular grooming assistants.
